Students: Pick up the shovel and dig. Dig hard. Dig for your life.

This is your industry. You love advertising—so show it. Don’t wait for a creative director to give you a contract to start working for your industry. Play hard and question what your industry is doing. Don’t like what some creative told you or said in an article? Write to him, call him, don’t leave him alone. In fact write an article yourself, do a pro bono ad, join an international competition, call an art director or copywriter and ask him for a couple of minutes of his time. If you don’t like the industry as it is—change it. Individuals, regardless of how small they are, have the power to change the world.

Creatives: Show them how to shovel.

Once you are ‘in’, you shouldn’t close the door on those behind you. Reach out and try to get as many across the bridge. That nervous guy that left a stupid voice mail this morning and whose message you deleted is the junior that will have the idea that will make you an award winning creative director one day.

Improving our national “book” quality is the responsibility of all. The know-how lies with you Mr. Creative. If you know what it takes to make an ad win Gold at Cannes that’s great for you. If 10 people can learn from you that’s a national achievement.

The Great agency is an agency that has great clients. It is so important not to forget about it
There is so many instances :

Wieden + Kennedy opened their first office in Portland and their clients were Nike,

Amsterdam 180 and Adidas.

But it is like in the saying , if you are ready you ll find a tutor

If agency ready , it ll find a great client

What I really don’t understand it is why there is no top global level advertising creators from Russia?

Why does Russian’s agencies look so sick at world AD competitions ?

I think, the problem is we don’t have match world level experience and we don’t want add our personality on this experience, not just stupidly copy nice ideas . As you know, the best way to solve a problem is done it by your own self! And this is what I am exactly doing now.

This my first one topic and there is some questions , that i wanna clear out.
1)Who I am
2)And what am i going to write about?

1)I am recently graduated guy from Siberia , have some experience in commercial since 2006 .
Worked for 3 years as junior copywriter
Was intern in Satchi Moscow , BBDO Moscow, LOWE London.
I only start my way now , and you will see where i ll be after several years

2) I am not going stupidly stealing global cases and show it like my point of view. Only fresh ideas + all my best movements .
